a) For the interview: Use words that aren’t ordinarily used. Use a lot of adjectives to describe nouns. Be creative in constructing sentences

b) For me, the listening part was the most difficult. Given the fact that I have very mild hearing impairment. The facilitator, prior to the listening test, will be playing the CD which contains the read text for the examination. She will ask the group if it is heard loud enough by all constituents. Be sure you hear well. Unfortunately, you can not choose your seat. Test takers are seated alphabetically. Test format is identification.

c) Familiarize yourself with the Queen’s English, British accent that is. There are free online sites that can help you familiarize yourself with this accent.

d) The reading part of the examination involves reading several paragraphs. And questions will be derived from these paragraphs. Test format are as follows: multiple choice, enumeration, identification. You can always go back to the text is you can’t remember some important details. So don’t worry about memorizing names or dates or etc….

e) The writing part involves interpreting graphs, scales or diagrams. Two essays will be done on two different diagrams. Be sure to read the instructions stated. Like minimum of 200 words. If this is the case, NEVER be less than 200 words because this will be a point against you. Like aforementioned, use adjectives and be creative as possible. Make logical interpretations.
